Corwin & Hannah's Wedding | Wedding Photographer, Watertown, NY

Wednesday, September 28, 2011

This was my first time photographing a wedding! My friend Hannah was the main photographer, and she asked me to be her second shooter. To save her time, I edited my own photos - which took me over a month to edit on my nights and weekends.

I learned A LOT from this wedding. I learned that I need to buy more equipment haha. I shot this completely in natural light - which was challenging, considering the church had NO windows and NO natural light. I am now doing my research on off camera flash for future weddings, and I'm looking into some more lenses. I will have all of my new equipment by wedding season next year.

I also learned that I should invest in a personal masseuse after the wedding day is over. I was SORE!

I also have to point out that I'm extremely grateful that this was my first wedding, because Corwin and Hannah were so sweet and so patient with me. They also were super amazing at posing! I would give them some suggestions and then they would work it! My favorite part during the ceremony was their worship and prayer time. I loved photographing their emotion during worship - it made every photo that much more special!

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! Congratulations Corwin & Hannah!

The Clarks at Behling's | Family Photographer, Mexico, NY

Monday, September 26, 2011

It shames me to admit but I'm extremely behind with my editing. If you haven't read why yet, you can read all about why it takes so long here.

Luckily for the Clarks, I was able to jump right to their session! This is because I work for Oswego County Tourism - and I needed some new fall photos. Apple picking just happens to be a major draw in our county starting in September. So what better than to have apple picking pictures! You can look for the Clark family featured on the official Oswego County Tourism website in a few days! If you haven't been to Behling's yet I suggest you make the trip out there. It is WAY too much fun!

*I promise I'm back to editing in the correct order now!!
